The Belle Brigade, who will be opening the k.d. lang & The Siss Boom Bang show in July, is having an awesome day today. Their new (self titled) album was released today in digital, CD and vinyl form. Pick up a copy here or on Amazon or iTunes.

Tony Bennett released a Duet’s album in 2006 featuring some amazing fellow singers. Now he’s working on another duets disc to release in honor of this 85th birthday this year! (On a side note, check out this video of the South Shore Music Circus helping Tony celebrate his 84th birthday last August!)

What makes this news even more amazing is that k.d. lang will be featured on the new disc! That’s two great 2011 Melody Tent performers coming together! Read more about the project here.
