As lead vocalist for international super duo Sugarland, Jennifer Nettles became one of the most popular singer-songwriters in music today. Nominated for a Best New Artist Award in 2006, the band would go on to win numerous Grammies, including Best Country Song and Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group. Their hard work and talent made them country favorites. But Jennifer Nettles has also equaled the band’s success while working solo and with artists other than her Sugarland bandmate, Kristian Bush.
Nettles alone has won five ASCAP awards for her songwriting and in 2008 received her own Grammy, ACM Award and CMA Award for her No. 1 hit “Stay.” Her duet on Bon Jovi’s “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” hit Number One on the Billboard country charts and Nettles and Bon Jovi won a Grammy for Best Vocal Collaboration. In 2009, Nettles also received an ACM Milestone award. Live, Jennifer Nettles has mastered duets with the likes of James Taylor and John Legend.
On stage, Nettles has delivered her memorable, heartfelt performances of her hits including “Baby Girl,” “That Girl” and “Falling.” She has performed to an impressive range of audiences from Presidential Inaugural celebrations to television shows like Ellen, Good Morning America and The Tonight Show. Her 2014 solo album, That Girl, reached No. 1 on the US Country charts.
