Jim Gaffigan is an eight-time Grammy-nominated comedian, actor, writer, producer, two-time New York Times bestselling author, three-time Emmy winner, top touring performer, and multi-platinum-selling recording artist. Known worldwide for his clean, observational humor about everyday life, he remains one of the most beloved comedians working today.

His 11th stand-up special, The Skinny, premiered on Hulu as the platform’s first original special for its comedy brand Hularious and generated nearly 100 million clip views online. Gaffigan is currently on his Everything is Wonderful stand-up tour.

Consistently ranked among the industry’s biggest names, Gaffigan has appeared on Forbes’ Top 10 Comedians list and is regularly listed among Pollstar’s top-earning comedians. In 2023 he released his 10th comedy special, Dark Pale, on Amazon Prime Video, which The New York Times called “his best yet.” He also recently co-headlined a sold-out multi-city arena tour with Jerry Seinfeld and performed two sold-out shows at the Hollywood Bowl during the Netflix Is a Joke Festival.

In 2021 Gaffigan released his ninth special, Comedy Monster, on Netflix, which earned a Grammy nomination. He also became the first comedian to surpass one billion streams on Pandora.

On screen, Gaffigan starred alongside Jerry Seinfeld, Melissa McCarthy, James Marsden, and Hugh Grant in Netflix’s Unfrosted, which debuted as the #1 movie worldwide on the platform. He also starred in the acclaimed sci-fi drama Linoleum, named one of Vulture’s best movies of 2023.

Additional film and television credits include Disney’s Peter Pan & Wendy as Mr. Smee opposite Jude Law, HBO Max’s Full Circle, and roles in films such as Three Kings, Super Troopers, Chappaquiddick, Troop Zero, Tesla, and Most Wanted. His voice can also be heard in the Disney/Pixar animated film Luca. In 2019 alone, he appeared in eight films, including three that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

Gaffigan also co-created, wrote, and produced the critically acclaimed semi-autobiographical series The Jim Gaffigan Show with his wife Jeannie. He has made numerous television appearances ranging from Portlandia and Bob’s Burgers to HBO’s Flight of the Conchords and dramatic roles on Law & Order.

Beyond entertainment, Gaffigan regularly contributes humorous commentaries on CBS Sunday Morning, earning three Emmy Awards. In 2018 he served as master of ceremonies for the Al Smith Memorial Dinner, and in 2015 he performed for Pope Francis and more than one million attendees at the Festival of Families in Philadelphia.Gaffigan and his wife Jeannie live in Manhattan with their five loud and expensive children.
