Rolling Together Revue Tour – G. Love & Special Sauce, Donavon Frankenreiter and Moon Taxi

G. Love & Special Sauce is an American Hip-Hop Blues band known for its unique fusion of hip-hop, blues, funk, & soul. Formed in 1993 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the band originally featured Garrett Dutton, aka G. Love, as the lead vocalist & guitarist, Jeffrey Clemens on drums, & Jim Prescott on bass. The trio quickly gained attention for their laid-back, groovy style & G. Love’s unique vocal delivery, blending rap-like spoken word with bluesy singing. Their debut self-titled album, G. Love & Special Sauce, was released in 1994 on Epic Records & included the hit single “Cold Beverage,” which became popular on alternative radio stations & MTV, solidifying their presence in the music scene. The band’s style has been described as a mix of slacker blues & alternative hip-hop, as they frequently incorporate elements of 90s hip-hop beats with classic blues rhythms. Known for their energetic live performances, G. Love & Special Sauce has played at festivals like Bonnaroo & Lollapalooza. Garrett Dutton also frequently collaborates with other artists, including Jack Johnson, with whom he shares a similar vibe, & has released solo projects that dive deeper into his blues influences. G. Love & Special Sauce remains a beloved name in the music scene, blending genres in a way that feels fresh & authentic. Once again ready to push the boundaries of their genre, Nashville based indie alt-rock band Moon Taxi is back with their sixth full length album, Set Yourself Free. With tracks ranging from rock to synth to pop to bluegrass, the new lineup showcases what 15 years as a band gets you: a polished, classic sound without fear of exploration. The five-member group- vocalist/guitarist Trevor Terndrup, lead guitarist Spencer Thomson, bassist Tommy Putnam, keyboardist Wes Bailey, & drummer Tyler Ritter- stepped back into their roots to create an album primarily written & recorded by themselves & set for release on their own label, 12th South Records. For nearly two decades Donavon Frankenreiter has been traveling the globe, first as a professional surfer & now a musician. Born in Southern California, Donavon spent most to his youth chasing waves, turning pro at the age of 16. These days instead of surf competitions, it is concert halls that bring Frankenreiter to town, where he entertains audiences with his unique blend of laid-back grooves, philosophical lyrics & soulful delivery.     ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Hailing from Atlanta, GA, Collective Soul celebrated their 30th Anniversary in 2024 with the release of their highly anticipated and critically acclaimed 12th studio album, HERE TO ETERNITY. It was written and produced by E. Roland and co-produced by Shawn Grove, and recorded at Elvis Presley’s estate in Palm Springs, CA. They’re the only other music artist to ever record at the historical landmark. With 11 studio albums—including 1995’s self-titled COLLECTIVE SOUL album, which went triple Platinum–and 8 #1 hits under their belt, frontman and chief songwriter Ed Roland is unwaveringly driven in his desire to double down on doing more of what he does best – making music, sweet music, both in the studio and onstage. Seeing eye to eye, and ear to ear, is part of the secret sauce of why Collective Soul continues to both record and play together at an uncompromised level of high quality. An Evening with THE BEACH BOYS

You can capsulize most pop music acts by reciting how many hits they’ve had and how many millions of albums they’ve sold. But these conventional measurements fall short when you’re assessing the impact of The Beach Boys. This band has birthed a torrent of hit singles and sold albums by the tens of millions. But its greater significance lies in the fact that The Beach Boys’ songs have forever changed the musical landscape, profoundly influencing countless performing artists to follow. At the helm of The Beach Boys is lead Singer & Critically acclaimed lyricist,  Mike Love, a founding member whose leadership has steered the band through decades of musical evolution. Grammy-winning songwriter Bruce Johnston joined The Beach Boys in 1965, replacing Glenn Campbell, who filled-in for Brian Wilson, on vocals/bass, when he retired from touring. Highly regarded in his field, Johnston brought with him a wealth of experience from working with icons like Elton John and Pink Floyd, The Byrds, cementing his place among rock’s elite. The current lineup, including musical director Brian Eichenberger, Christian Love, Tim Bonhomme, Jon Bolton, Keith Hubacher, Randy Leago, and John Wedemeyer, continues to honor and expand upon the band’s iconic Live performance legacy. This dedication is evident in their rigorous touring schedule, with the band performing an average of 150 shows a year across a variety of venues worldwide. In 2012, The Beach Boys marked their 50th anniversary with a reunion tour and the release of “That’s Why God Made the Radio,” which debuted at #3 on the Billboard charts, their highest chart position in 37 years. This resurgence of interest highlighted the band’s continued relevance and their ability to resonate with both long-time fans and new listeners alike. Their discography includes milestones like the triple platinum-certified Sounds of Summer and “The Warmth of the Sun, which have contributed to a renewed interest in their music. Despite having numerous opportunities to retire at the height of their success, such as after the release of the groundbreaking Pet Sounds masterpiece in 1966, or after Mike Love’s concept album Endless Summer ignited a second generation of Beach Boys fans and stirred a tempest that rocked the music world, or after recording Love’s co-written Golden Globe nominated “Kokomo” in 1988 and seeing it become its best-selling single ever, or after being inducted that same year into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, The Beach Boys have chosen to continue touring and sharing music with the world, a testament to their commitment to their art and fans. The Beach Boys celebrated the 50th anniversary of the hit “Good Vibrations” – which is widely considered one of the greatest masterpieces in the history of rock and roll – in 2016 with a 50 Years of Good Vibrations tour, underscoring the song’s status as a rock and roll masterpiece. Mike Love’s memoir, GOOD VIBRATIONS: My Life as a Beach Boy, further cemented their place in music history by becoming a New York Times Best Seller. The Beach Boys have been a significant presence at major events, including Live Aid and the Statue of Liberty’s 100th Anniversary Salute, showcasing their unparalleled ability to captivate audiences. Mike Love’s contributions as a songwriter, in collaboration with Brian Wilson, have produced timeless hits like “Surfin’,” “Fun, Fun, Fun,” and “California Girls,” “Warmth of the Sun,” “Good Vibrations,”  and long list of other titles highlighting his enduring talent.

NANCY WILSON’S HEART

“A life of making music is truly a blessed life” – words from Nancy Wilson that ring true, and she continues to be inspired year after year. Nancy Wilson is celebrated as a seminal musician in rock ‘n’ roll history. A guitar virtuoso from the age of 9, Nancy (and her sister Ann) lead the multi-platinum rock group, Heart, who have sold upwards of 35 million albums. Nancy is revered as an ingenious guitar player, and as a gifted lead vocalist. In fact, that’s Nancy singing on Heart’s first Number One hit, “These Dreams.” As a songwriter, Nancy has co-written a collection of indelible songs that have earned their way into the classic rock canon (“Magic Man,” “Crazy on You,” “Barracuda,” “Straight On”). Nancy and Ann were honored with the ASCAP Founders Award (2009), ASCAP’s most prestigious honor, awarded to songwriters who have made pioneering contributions to music. During an era when females in rock ‘n’ roll were scarce, Nancy helped to carve out a place for women to front rock bands, and dominate on stage. Her icon status was cemented when Heart was inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame in 2012. That same year, she and her sister received a Star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. In 2013, the Wilson Sisters celebrated another career milestone when they performed Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway To Heaven” at the Kennedy Center Honors. Their note-perfect performance was met with rousing cheers and a standing ovation in the staid concert hall, and brought members of Led Zeppelin to tears. The video went viral on YouTube.
