Many of the stars that will take the stage this summer at the South Shore Music Circus and the Cape Cod Melody Tent have come together to create unforgettable music. These different collaborations manage to capture the talent of some of our favorite artists with the result being unique sounds and hit singles.
Matt Nathanson partnered with Jennifer Nettles at the 2011 Country Music Awards to sing the song ‘Run,’ which is featured on Nathanson’s album Modern Love. This single debuted at #17 on the Billboard top 200 Albums Chart and their live performance was quite the crowd-pleaser.
Singer/song-writer, Gavin DeGraw, is no stranger to the country music scene as he has collaborated with two of our favorite artists: Martina McBride and Sara Evans. Four-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year, Martina McBride, teamed up with DeGraw to produce the song, ‘Bring It Home to Me,’ which appears on her album, Everlasting. He is also featured on Sara Evan’s album, Slow Me Down, in her single “Not Over You.” He was the ideal pick for these two collaborations with his powerful vocals and notorious talent when it comes to song-writing.
The hit song “It’s the End of the World as We Know It,” was first recorded by rock band R.E.M in 1987, appearing on their album Document. Today, we can’t get enough of the cover by Sugarland, Matt Nathanson and Little Big Town.
